Warranty and Return Policy

At BeltUp Leather Co. we are committed to providing you with exceptional leather products and a hassle-free shopping experience. Our Return Policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and in compliance with Australian Consumer Laws.
In all cases, at fault or not, we hope to achieve minimal stress and financial burden to both parties. If you are located in or near Brisbane, please feel free to visit us at DFO Brisbane (10am -6pm, 7 days a week) where we would be happy to help you in person.
Before sending any products back due to sizing or damages etc, please contact us at orders@beltuponline.com.au. Some small fixes we can rectify without needing you to post the belt back.
Change of Mind:
If you've had a change of heart about your purchase, rest assured that you can return the item within 30 days from the date of delivery. Please note the following conditions:
- You are responsible for the shipping costs both ways (i.e., the original sipping costs will be deducted from your refund and you will be required to bear the cost of sending the product back to us).
- The item must be in its original condition, unused, and with all tags and packaging intact.
- When returning an item, we recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure its safe arrival.
Faults or Defects:
Every item is inspected and photographed before sending out to you. However, in the rare event that you receive a product with a fault or defect, we've got you covered:
- We will cover the postage cost for you to return the faulty item.
- Once we receive the item and confirm the fault, we will promptly send you out a replacement.
Wrong Size:
If you realize that you've chosen the wrong size and didn't measure properly, we're here to help you:
- You will be required to cover the postage cost both ways for the exchange (same as if you had to drive back to a physical shop).
- Simply package up the belt with an extra reply paid return envelope inside with the belt, and then send it to the address below.
*If you approach us with courtesy and respect, we often go the extra mile and include a free gift as a sweetener for the added inconvenience.
Our dedicated staff is here to assist you through the return process. They are committed to exceeding your expectations and ensuring your satisfaction.
Please remember that this Return Policy is subject to Australian Consumer Laws, which provide you with additional rights and protections.
Warranty:
Our extended 12 month warranty covers all premium belts. We do not cover the $15 Vinyl/Leather belts once they have been 'reasonably worn in'.
What's Covered:
- Faulty Buckle: If the buckle isn't doing its job or it's giving you trouble, we'll sort it out.
- Missing Screw: If you're missing a screw (literally), we'll send some your way, no questions asked.
- Leather Issues: If the leather splits or breaks we will replace it. This does not include man-made cuts and our leather specialist will inspect the item before offering a replacement.
What's Not Covered (Because Life Happens):
- Mold from Misuse or Improper Storage: If your belt was stored in a damp, dark corner, we can't take the blame for that.
- Your Dog Ate It: We love dogs as much as you do, but if your furry friend decides to make a snack out of your belt, it's not on us.
- My Belt Seems to Have Shrunk (LOL, Mine Too): Sorry, we can't help you with that.
- I Punched Some Holes in it, and Now it Looks Like a Dog's Breakfast: We appreciate your creativity, but we can't cover belts that have been DIY-modified into unrecognizable shapes.
- My Belt Has a Curve in It Now: Our belts are designed to form to your body over time, just like your favourite pair of jeans. So, if it's getting a little curvy, it's a sign it's been on some great adventures with you.
- My Belt or Buckle Has Some Wear Marks: Just like us, our belts age gracefully. Wear marks and signs of a life well-lived are badges of honour, not defects.
- It Has Changed Colour: Yes, you can expect some leathers to develop a rich patina. Just like our skin, leather can age and tan.
